Some of the big brass Congreve rockets, fired on the fort from "ladders" on smaller boats (they were just out of our guns range) were recovered by divers I heard in the Inner Harbor just off the fort's shore while I was working inside the fort for the NPS in 1978. Today in 1931 the US government authorized the National Anthem, the "Star Spangled Banner" based on the flag at Fort McHenry, Baltimore, MD.
