Comment: Army changes basic training for 'softer' kids - Yahoo! Games
It might be a good idea for different reasons, like "smoke 'em if you got 'em" which were part of WWII K-rations, today more likely little red Tabasco bottles with MRE's. And I've heard actual athletic shoes along with standard issue leather, Bradley Fighting vehicles out in front of tanks rather than the infantry. Speaking of which, the rate of fire makes todays confrontation a much different battlefield. I did the initial archeology survey of Fort Drum, NY and later watched as "Hueys" turned into Blackhawks, Jeeps into Humvees, old tanks from Fort Knox turn into Abrams M-1, and (lasers rifles stopped them at first in games), women in camo makeup jump out of trucks, other changes, uniforms, etc. It just figures changes have and should be made. Change is good. Yahoo! Games
