Mr. Carlin was an important arts guy, either on the Shining Time Station or "excellent adventures" or a priest in "Dogma" which gave the Bob Newhart crowd a run for the "money" back when people sometimes sat around in groups and listened to stereo comedy and the King Biscuit Comedy Hour.
