2010 Pulitzer Prizes: Good News

It's too bad they haven't given it to a foreign press covering the US. RT.com on WNBC4.4 in NYC is very interesting and covered some of the foreclosure problems very well on-air and online. There's a small monument to Joseph Pulitzer in NYC's "City Hall Park" closed for at least five years after 9/11/01. Nearby is the sitting statue of Horace Greeley, who supposedly said "Go west young man and grow up with the country". Below them are the reputed and archaeologically tested remains of the first "Almshouse" in old New York and I sometimes wonder if its because "Newspaper Row" was nearby or Pulitzer preferred it there. For a list of New York Parks, and American historic sites, also to be closed, see "The Buffalo News" http://tinyurl.com/3ayptza
