The "Washington Post" states his friend at Harvard is in charge of privatizing all the former nationalized industries in Iraq and a large Republican party donor, 3) Dan Rather and CBS were under attack for trying to buy the baseball team the Texas Rangers, from whom then Governor Bush earned the money to buy the Crawford ranch (Mr. Rather owns a ranch too where a terrible multiple murder occurred) and he had to make sure his backers ended up in ownership. So when Mr. Rather thinks CBS, Inc. erred in selecting a former official of the George H. W. Bush's (a NY Times op-ed once referred to him as "Our Man in Halcyon" due to his prescription and how the world he assured us was getting safer) to judge his investigative reportage, I feel for him, my cousin once an award-winning NBC News producer (pers. comm. Edwin Newman) and a friend in NYC a "street reporter" for CBS there. Indeed perhaps we could see Mr. Rather as upholding the ethics of the Society of Professional Journalists.
