Today in History: Thrust Beats Sound Twice on Autopia

I think that's supposed to be "It's worth noting..." not "It's worth nothing...". General Yeagar's flight simulator was an interesting complement to "Orbiter" the Space Shuttle sim and others, back in CGA. I still wonder why the X-15 film with Mary Tyler Moore, and the actor who became known as Charles Bronson is not shown more often. The Thrust team also released film of the jet car going through the sound barrier. It was quite interesting.
